INTERACTIVE THEATRE OF PROCESS - mission:
In ancient times and cultures theatre operated as therapeutic center which was uniting the hole community. The Interactive Theatre of Process undertook this role. Basing on the inborn human ability to have fun and to be spontaneous ITP lets us discover these aspects of life and personality which escape our attention in the routine of everyday life. Our method bases on the assumptions of process oriented psychology started by Arnold Mindell. We use psychodrama, art therapy and various artistic activities. We treat each human holistically that's why we work with every human experience: with the body and its symptoms, with dreams, movement, voice and different states of mind, with relations, with difficult experiences and dreams. We try to discover the hidden sense behind all those aspects.

Our method is successfully applied in the fields such as:
  • counseling and support in personal development
  • counseling and support in establishment development
  • work with group processes and conflicts
  • individual psychotherapy
  • group therapy
  • work with positive changes in the world and building culture

    Main forms of our activities are: meeting in circles, workshop series, classified workshops, regular psychotherapy groups, individual consultancy, cultural events animation. We are there where they need us. We have organized a mobile ITP group ready to help at any time. We cooperate with different institutions, foundations, associations and informal groups as well as individuals. We can get to you or invite you to our place! Interactive Theatre of Process arose from the initiative of sympathizers and practitioners of process oriented psychology by Arnold Mindell

    Series of workshop: PSYCHODRAMA & ART THERAPHY & PROCESS WORK - inspiration in development
    Leading person: Oksana Dšbrowska.
    Supervisions: Clare Hill i Conor McKenna.
    The proposed series of 5 workshops and afternoon classes gives the opportunity to get familiar with the possibilities of using various psychodrama and art therapy techniques within the field of process work Theatrical and artistic actions during workshops are not random but directed to conscious following of the process which has its strictly stated structure. Together, we create the Theatre of Process as a scene where one can observe the continuously ongoing process of changes and struggles of life's contraries. Thanks to such experiences we widen the area of attention and we become more conscious directors of the biggest plays of all - life. As an effect new solutions for difficult situations appear and we are able to workout beneficial forms of behaviors. We strongly recommend our workshops to people interested in ways of artistic stimulation and to the ones working with groups.
    You can take part in particular workshop or in the whole series.

    First workshop: PSYCHODRAMA & ART THERAPY & PROCESS WORK - inspiration in development WORK WITH MOVEMENT
    Our body is less engaged in our communication with others than our mind. It makes it less controllable that's why the movement can open door to our sub consciousness. During the workshop we will be looking for individual and authentic movement for each person which has healing and relaxing influence on one's body. That's why we will benefit from improvisation in movement, dance, pantomime and other ways of expression in movement. Matters discussed during workshop: work with movement in psychodrama and art therapy; recognizing unfinished movements and different ways of their development; personal and social edges; the use of movement as a tool for inner integration; figures hidden behind the movement.

    Second workshop: PSYCHODRAMA & ART THERAPY & PROCESS WORK - inspiration in development WORK WITH SYMPTOMS
    Process Oriented Psychology's approach towards the work with symptoms and illness bases on the idea that behind experiencing both there is a hidden wisdom which can be discovered thanks to special training of following the body's tips. Symptoms can potentially help us discover different aspects of our experience which are out of reach of our conscious awareness in everyday life. The marginalization of some aspects of our experience makes us loose the natural way of walking towards the holiness. The symptoms remind us about this path. On our workshops we focus on experiencing symptoms and on understanding the connection between them and different parts of our personalities as well as our deep inner needs. Psychodrama and art therapy techniques enable us to transfer symptoms experiencing into area of creativity. Thanks to this we can take a close look at the ongoing process of inner change from an amazing perspective.
    Matters discussed during workshop: work with symptoms within psychodrama and art therapy; ways of developing body's awareness; symptoms and parts of the process interaction; discovering personal and social edges; ways of integration the symptoms into movement.

    Third workshop: PSYCHODRAMA & ART THERAPY & PROCESS WORK - inspiration in development WORK WITH VOICE AND MUSIC. PRACA Z GŁOSEM I MUZYKĽ. UNDISTURBED COMMUNICATION.
    Voice has many important functions in our lives. From one side it is the instrument for interpersonal communication: its tone, rhythm, pitch, intensity and timbre describe our emotions. From the other side voice is one of the creative channels of human expression. There is no greater musical instrument than voice. It can also be the wonderful instrument to get to know oneself. Uncontrollable moments in life happen to all of us. Instead of fighting with them through speech and chant we will perceptively delve into their nature. We will discover previously ignored aspects of our deeper personalities. We will be looking for new qualities also in music, songs which attract us and follow us. Psychodrama helps us to discover the meaning of sounds, which irritate us or are attractive to us, for our development. Thanks to purpose-built exercises we will become aware of our individual style of communicating with people and of our interpersonal communication disorders.
    Matters discussed during workshop: voice working techniques psychodrama and art therapy; identifying particular signals unveiling from voice and ways for developing them; recognizing personal and social edges in aural channel; using the experience with voice as a technique of inner and group integration.

    Fourth workshop: PSYCHODRAMA & ART THERAPY & PROCESS WORK - inspiration in development WORK WITH RELATIONSHIPS
    Influence which interpersonal relationships have on us is huge. Because of what is happening in relations we can feel on top of the mountain or deep down in the shadow. There is close correlation between these ups and downs with processes going on deep inside of our personalities which we don't realize. We will examine this connection to reveal our true SELF and the way it leads us to. Taking part in workshop you will:

  • Get to know your needs connected with relations;
  • Convince yourself that every person which becomes close to you has inside a crucial information about your development, you will reveal its meaning;
  • Recognize the influence of conscious and unconscious role and cultural model for your functioning in relationships, you will workout new, more favorable models of behavior and reactions important in you personal relations;
  • Sustain that unpleasant experience in relationship can be turned into a source of true positive transformation for yourself and for the quality of being together.

    During psychodrama session participants play or watch scenes connected with situations in relationships. This gives the opportunity to gain a new, fresh look on the presented situation. Participants realize previously ignored aspects and they practice better models of behavior. Matters discussed during workshop: psychodrama in work with relations; different levels of working with relations; relationship dreams; unintentional communication in relations.

    MEETINGS IN CIRCLE
    Description:
    Afternoon meetings are a part of the series of workshops: PSYCHODRAMA & ART THERAPY & PROCESS WORK - and are addressed to people interested in psychodrama as a method of working for personal development as well as for all interested in gaining practical abilities in using psychodrama as a method of working with groups. One meeting lasts three hours and consists of psychodrama and workshop parts. In the part devoted to psychodrama participants apply their problems of situations from their lives which they would like to work on. We randomly choose the situation to work with. We play figures and "ghosts", parties which are connected with the chosen situation. We play dialogues and inner personal conflicts. Participant play or observe the happening scene. Thanks to it they gain a new, fresh look on the presented situation and become aware of previously ignored aspects. From this point we can "direct" our life from the start and "exercise" beneficial models of behavior. During the workshop part of the meeting (last 45 minutes) we discuss the touched subject and we practice practical abilities. Areas in which we work are: work with relations and conflicts; work with dreams; work with body and its symptoms; work with voice; "redefining" the past (work with traumas and difficult experiences); work with dreams; work with the world and building a community. Meetings under the supervision of: Clare Hill and Conor McKenna.

    Workshop: "MANDALA AS AN INSTRUMENT FOR MANDALA'S THEATRE INTEGRATION"
    In the offered series of art therapeutic character workshop we will pursue our deeper inner personality and processes going on in subconscious areas of our psyche through mandalas drawing. In spiritual traditions mandala represents the sacred space, the mapping of Cosmos. Its every part has a beginning and its meaning. This is the same with individual mandala which represents our inner world mapping. Through becoming aware of processes going on in our sub consciousness a very important process of integration is taking place. This process is the identity of our process of development. During workshop we will observe how our mandalas change showing us new ways. We will also "play" mandalas to expand the area of our experience and awareness. Playing mandalas helps to understand the ongoing inner processes and working through new ways of being in the world.

    Workshop: " REDEFINING THE PAST"
    If we have ever been the victims of negative experiences, especially physical and mental abuse as well as long-term unjustified critics, we can expect that they had left marks on our psyche and reflected on our physical health. It can result in such symptoms as depression, long-term disorders, failures in personal and professional life. Working through these situations by process oriented method completed with art therapy is sort of katharsis and helps to clean our psyche from past experiences. The workshop is held in a safe atmosphere in a closed group. Working through personal problems in a group with similar experiences to others allows to get psychological and emotional support as well as breaking through sub conscious fears and interpersonal contact anxieties. Effects of these exercises are: letting free the blocked energy flow, gaining new perspective and creating new path of life.

    Workshop: "WORK WITH INNER CHILD"
    You can be a young or an adult person but irrespective of your age and experience the inner child constantly accompanies you and wants something from you. If you ignore your inner child it will be looking for ways to get your attention. As children, our needs of love, sense of safety, acceptance, fun and attention from close people very often weren't satisfied. We hid our unfulfilled needs very deeply in our sub consciousness so we don't remember them. Despite this fact they become active in situations when we least expect it. In those moments we can hardly understand our behaviors. It is the sign that our inner child wants to be noticed. The conversation with it and fulfillment of its needs helps us to gain wider perspective of the processes ongoing in the deepest interiors of our psyche, to get into a better contact with our emotions as well as it makes our interpersonal relationships work better.

    Workshop: "WORK WITH THE FUTURE"
    All of us plan our future somehow. We normally do it from the rational point of view not taking into account our crazy dreams and miracles which can happen. This way we block ourselves to amazing and fascinating changes in our lives. The work with dreams and beliefs on the edge to their realization may effect in advantageous changes of our lives. Everything is possible when our true inner self speaks out. Due to quantum physics new approach time and space are absolute concepts. Working with the future we influence all time and special dimensions of our life HERE and NOW.
